Default PowerDVD and mouse pointer popping up

Today I bought a Blu-ray drive for my PC and the it came with Power DVD 7.3 BD Edition and I installed the latest update to it. When playing a movie using this software, the mouse pointer sometimes pops up for around 10 seconds then goes away. Is there a way that I can prevent the mouse pointer from popping up while watching a movie with this software?
