Canada Creepy Horror Movie Scenes That Still Stick With You

Post up some of the creepiest scenes in horror movies that still stick with you to this day. i don't mean no Exorcist head turn stuff, i am talking about the little things in some horror movies that just say, christ, i dunno, lol. you will know what i mean when you see some of mine that i think just worked out perfectly. and there are still more, but these are just some that quickly come to mind.

Halloween when Michael comes out of the shadows of the doorway.

Halloween when Michael sits up

The Shining during the hallway scene

An American Werewolf In London during the subway scene

Friday the 13th The Final Chapter when Jason creeps up on Trish

Zombi, what else could it be but the eye scene. its so drawn out it drives you nuts

I don't know how to post pictures like that but the creepiest horror movie scene that sticks to me the most is the image of Zelda from Pet Sematary.

also, if you right click on an image, depending on what browser you use, you can copy the image url and then paste it in the tab that says insert image and BANG!, Bob's your uncle.

I avoid modern slasher/horror/gross out type movies so I will go back to The Exorcist, which I still have trouble watching alone

The Exorcist is an awesome movie, and i will be picking it up on Blu this week! and i know what you mean by the modern horror movies, they just don't have the same style as say 20+ years ago. and i find the movies like Hostel ( or as some people call them "torture porn" ) horrible. its like movie directors these days just go out and try to one up everyone on the gross out factor. i will use Friday the 13th movies as an example, sure they are horror movies, but atleast they have some tension to them, some suspense, to build up the moment. like i used in the scene posted above, when Jason comes back in the house. you know he is out there, the door is open, her back is turned, and your waiting for him, then you start to hear a couple of slow foot steps, her eyes widen, and he slowly starts to step into the door frame. THATS MOVIE MAKING! in my opinion anyway

the scenes i listed above are just some of the scenes that still get me to this day, even if i seen the movie 100 times and i know whats coming, they just give that creepy uneasy feeling that works everytime

Jacob's Ladder:

The scene where the car is chasing Tim Robbins down some alleyway side street and almost runs him over. As the car passes Tim Robbins, in the back car window, he sees some bobble-headed looking monster head staring back at him. I get goosebumps thinking about it. Can someone post this photo here? I can't find it.

The Ring:

The Shining:

I know have a sort of brain freeze shiver goose bump feeling after participating in this thread...brrr...

Does anyone know what 80s horror movie this was: a kid (I think a girl) is hiding under a bed on the second floor, and an ax-wielding, boot wearing person or monster slowly walks up to the bed and we see the perspective of the kid's view. And I think the person or monster all of a sudden looks under the bed and we see the face, and it scares the crap out of anyone watching. I know this is a cliched-type scene nowadays, but maybe it wasn't in the 80s? I can't figure out what horror film this was. I saw it in the 80s, so I guess it could have been from the 70s too.

That one has always stuck with me too, particularly the part where Rachel walks in as an adult and Zelda's laying on the bed and all of a sudden sits up really quickly. It looks so unnatural it's just icky.

For your viewing pleasure

2:19 to be specific. Ech.
