was getting worried they'd do something absurd like no blu-ray due to chatter in the UK forums where early talk was DVD and streaming only

I'd really love UHD though, those 80s colors and the detail, it looked like it might have even been a rare 4k DCP.... deserves UHD.

Terrific film this was. One of the delights of the year.
Doesn’t look like we’re getting a Blu-ray release in the U.K, despite it basically being about as British a movie as could be. Absolute joke. No way I’m going DVD on this so will have to import.

EDIT - I stand corrected! Blu-ray in the UK is a HMV exclusive. Sorted!

I'd like to order the US release but as I live in France I just want to make sure the blu-ray is not region A-locked. Can somebody confirm?

^DVD Profiler says it's region-free and the back cover does not indicate any region code, which very likely means it's region-free.

thank you - I don't think Warner has ever locked any of their releases but as this film has different distributors in different countries (it wasn't distributed by Warner in France or in the UK), I was concerned the US release might be region-locked for contractual reasons with the non-US distributors. But I agree the back cover would mention the region code if it was the case!

Warner Blu-ray’s never add region coding labels on the back covers though. At least not in the US.

Just got the Blu-ray from Amazon. No digital code, despite the package saying "Blu-ray plus digital code." It is also selling now for $13 with a 1-2 month wait, and I paid $14.99 for it.
When I called Amazon, they refunded me $14.99 plus tax.
At least I have the disc.

According to the back cover posted on an eBay listing here, the UK Blu-ray does not have the film's Dolby Atmos audio:
