widescreen TV 16:9 and widescreen movie - Blu-ray Forum

I don't have one yet but my friend has a 16:9 widescreen tv and when she watch a widescreen movie she can still the black bars on top and bottom.

Sharp Aquois is the TV.

thats because wide screen tv's are 16:9 and movies are usually 2.40:1 I think.
