Default Just pre-ordered Spider-Man 3

I just ordered Spiderman 3 from the home page link to Amazon 34.95, the trilogy is 68.99, but I opted for just #3.

I think I will be ordering the set since I liked 1 and 2 better than 3. That doesn't seem to be a bad price for all three though.

$35 doesn't sound bad considering there are some special edition DVDs still selling for the same.

Damn #3 is half the price of the entire trilogy, plus you get version 2.1 in the set as well. I'll order the set, it'd be foolish to buy just #3 at that price IMO.

What he said.

OP: Are you talking about "remasters"??? Maybe getting on board with new technology isn't for you. I'm just guessing. Your post is not worded properly.

I'm gonna take a shot. . .

Maybe you are under some misconceptions. Normally a transfer to an HD format is done from the original film source. This means that the Video and Audio are taken from the analog or digital source and converted to one of the many choices offerred by either the HD-DVD or Blu-ray specification. The only remaster of an existing blu-ray that I am aware of is 'The Fifth Element'. The original video transfer was done to a 25GB, single layer instead of the 50GB capability of a 2-layer. A Dolby TrueHD (lossless) audio track was added which is an option that wasn't able to be decoded back when the movie was first Blu-ray released.

*deep breath*

This thread is about the Spider-man 3 movie which hasn't been released on Blu-ray or DVD (and never on HD-DVD!!!!). What is added to this package is a bunch of extra content that might add to the enjoyment of some that want to see the lore, movie making history and behind the scenes.

I don't imagine we'll see a lot of remakes of what has already been released on Blu-ray unless there are some gross mistakes. The people on these forums hype what they hope to happen; an amazing picture quality, true to theatre audio quality, and death to HD-DVD

Amen

Spider Man Trilogy is NOT available on BD as of this very hot moment. Amazon only has the 68.99 DVD Trilogy Pack. That is all.

So expect to pay a little more for the BD release. Around 89.99 or so.

Here is the link to the trilogy in question, the reviewer must have wrote this when it was listed as bluray.

I'll wait until it specifically says "Blu-Ray" and it qualifies for the 10% discount.
