Received it in the post this morning from Sony. Unfortunately it was a DVD, but that doesn't matter. It is the best movie I have seen in a long, long time. The characters are brilliant, Michael Cera and Kat Dennings are really very good, and the script was also wonderful.

It's difficult to explain why I like the movie so much, but having been through a lot of what they go through in their

it's awesome. It actually reminds me a lot of Skins on E4, but a bit more grown-up!

Anyway, I know a lot of people didn't like it (though I don't get why), but for those that do, this is the thread for you!

+1 this movie was a good movie and surpizingly funny, wasnt knowing what to think of this movie since i hated Juno but i thought i was one of the best of 08!

I liked it too but maybe not as much as you did Max lol. It was funny though. But I wouldn't say it was as good as Superbad.

I don't think I would like this movie, sounds a lot like Juno and I was forced to watch that with my girlfriend. I liked the other Michael Cera Sony movie though (Superbad), one of my favorite movies ever.

+1 i loved superbad, but this movie aint no superbad its a more of a love story than a comedy, but still a good movie

I thought this movie was great. Interesting concept. I disagree in everyone looking two demensional. I like a lot of Michael Cera's work. Superbad, Nick & Norah, Juno, etc. I cannot wait for The Year One with Jack Black.

Yeah, this is a really great movie. I love Skins too!!! (Well seasons 1 and 2 anyways). I really hope it gets put on blu soon.

I really enjoyed this movie as well. It was one of my several blind buys and I didn't regret it. I also thought Kat Dennings was pretty good in it. It's been a while since I've watched it though. It's probably about that time again.

This movie really grated on me. I agree with Mikejet on all counts about the needless orgasm scene and the ridiculous indie hipster stuff. I guess it is because I am not a big indie music fan and find people who are into indie music sometimes annoying because they think it is so cool to listen to it, even if it is really crappy.

We watched this a few weeks ago..and i really really liked it to but like you say i have a hard time explaining why i liked it so much!
