right now the movie is only coming out with the game. Apparently stranglehold is the most expensive game ever made, so they are probably hoping to sell through all of their collectors editions (<1,000,000, by studio agreement). Regardless, you need a PS3 to watch the movie.

that part is not true the movie is on a 2ed Blu-ray so you can get with some one that only wants the game and pay for just the disk but there no case
as far as most costly game thats not true that is world of warcrat
at over 200mill for the 1st game it will stay the most costly for some time

i guess i shold have asked the ? a little bit different. i went to two different gamestops stores by me and they said that the movie is just a standerd dvd version not a blu ray copy. i went on ign.com and it says that there is a movie with the game but doesn't state if it's blu ray or not. if you read the back of the cover of the game in the store it says ps3 not needed to view movie.any help here

humm last i read they were spit up so they did not have to make two cuts of the game as that is more costly then haveing a 2ed disk made
but then i also expeted them to have it come to blu-ray solo

nope. thats why the ps3 version is so much better than the 360 version

only ps3 gets hardboiled. go to midway.com forums or strangleholdgame.com and search there. if you download the collectors edition video on ps network they will tell you "hardboiled in hd with stranglehold on a single blu ray disc" that would be pointless to put it on 2 blu ray discs. for what reason? there isnt a reason. 50 gb of space is more than enough for this to happen. and think about this. if the 360 version is almost 9 gb that means that the ps3 version will be the same size. so what happens to 41 gb of extra space? for the movie of course.

p.s. show me the link of where you read that they were split up.
