Default Nicholas Cage Loses his Comic Book Filled Bel-Air House!

Souce: Worst Preview

Quote:
Nicolas Cage's financial problems keep getting worse, since he has now lost his 12,000 square-foot mansion in the upscale Los Angeles neighborhood of Bel-Air. The actor failed to get any bids at its $10.4 million asking price this week, and ownership reverted back to the foreclosing lender.

Cage originally tried to sell the property for $35 million, but wasn't successful. LA Times quoted a real estate agent who called the interior design "frat house bordello," with framed comic books on walls.

The mansion also had model train sets on raised tracks in some rooms, in addition to a central tower, a home theater and an Olympic-sized pool, the newspaper said.

It was something like his legal team stole a bunch a money from him and he didn't really notice until it was too late. Something like that.

Like Eastwood said. The guy did get screwed. However, he can always build himself up, he is a celebrity after all.

Yeah, it was his manager who screwed him over.
Then hopefully he will be able to sue his manager and win some of his money back.

Some people just aren't good with money. Pro athletes are notoriously bad. Something like half of NBA players are broke within 3 years of the time they leave the league. I'm sure there are many actors in the same boat.

What person with half a brain would allow things to get to that point? Seriously, he didn't notice massive amounts of cash missing until it was ALL gone? I don't feel sorry at all for a lot of these people.

What ticked me off a while back is Latrell Sprewell actually said his huge NBA salary wasn't enough to feed his kids, glad the Timberwolves got rid of him after that.
