Looking for a DVD recorder with region-free capabilities - Blu-ray Forum

Hey Everyone,

I'm looking for a reliable DVD recorder, that can also double as a region-free DVD player. I used to own a Philips DVD recorder that did the job, but the drive broke down. Does anybody have any suggestions or happen to own a model that they would recommend? HD upscaling would be a bonus, too.

i havent really encountered a PC DVD drive that was locked. Other than that these drives are cheap, just get something on newegg thats got good specs and reviews.
