Is PS3's DVD player region free if you buy it from USA.

Nope the ps3 is region locked for dvds. The only thing unlocked is that you can play ps3 games from anywhere.

I also have some US Dvd´s, but can´t play it on my EU PS3...

Is there any trick to unlock it ?

Region encoding for DVD and Blu-ray are in place on the PlayStation 3. This will not be changing anytime in the foreseeable future.

There is no trick or known mod to unlock it.

Some Blu-ray movies are region locked, some are not. Use this site as a guide.

All PS3 games are region free just like PSP games.
