Yes. Loving the season so far. Glad to see the bd pre order up. I was worried this show would get the always sunny in philly treatment...

I'm glad as well. Always worried about fox releases now due to sunny in philly, americans and modern family not getting released on blu.

But in Archer's case, it doesn't matter. Season 5 just came out, which is after the flood of TV shows we found out Fox is not releasing on Blu-ray anymore. Archer is safe.

Is Archer: Season 6 even gonna get a BD release? Cause I've noticed that FX hasn't been releasing the last couple of seasons for some of my favorite shows on Blu Ray(e.g. Louie, It's Always Sunny)

Fox still released Archer last year, when they had already dropped those other FX shows, so I would say chances are good. I should think the show probably has a cheerleader or two at the studio, considering it's just about the only animated series coming from Fox on BD anymore.

Besides hoping and speculation theories, does anyone know any solid details as to why Season Six is now showing up as "Unavailable" on Amazon (and everywhere else)?

Is the home release being canceled? THX in advance!

FOX seems to be having a dispute with Amazon, all of their pre-order shows are 'unavailable'. Similar situations happened before with HBO and ABC/Disney.

No, just Amazon. Same thing happened between Disney and Amazon last year, the Captain America: Winter Soldier preorders didn't go live until just a few weeks before release.

They'll work it out.

The posters from SDCC in July said to look for it on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital... so fingers crossed that it is still coming to Blu!

I received a call from Foxconnect today, trying to delay my order from the 11/12/15 50% off sale, because Archer Season Six (previously listed as "Shipping this Fall [2015]" ) has now been set to release on March 29th, 2016.

I did remember reading that Amber Nash said the next season is set to premiere in March, that explains it.

They always seem to release a season set closest to the date of the next season premiere.

I received a call today from FoxConnect today as well saying they were letting people know the release date (March) for those that preordered it. She didn't try to delay my order though.

This is good news. I thought we had seen our last season of Archer on Blu-ray. Here is just one discreet data-point, but I think it's indicative of the overall direction of TV-on-disc:
