Default Playstation Move - Best/Worst Games

I have just picked up a cheap Playstation Move starter kit and was wondering what in everyon'e opinions are the best and worst Playstation Move games - I'm particularly interested in any games for younger children (5+) as that is the age of my kids.

Eyepet is great, make sure you go into the XMB>Accessory Settings>Calibrate Motion Controller> settings menu and press triangle to DISABLE the magnetic sensor.

Sports Champions table tennis/disc golf and gladiator are great.
Beat Sketcher is another really good drawing game.

Start the Party is a fun collection of mini party games.

My 5 years old loves these games, she's been playing since age 4.

For me, I like SOCOM 4, Time Crisis, Cabelas Dangerous Hunts 2011 and The Shoot.

Thanks for those - what would you get first out of the three you mentioned?

For JRPG fans, best would be Rune Factory Oceans and the mini-games in Record of Agarest War 2. Though the latter is more at least for older teens.

Sports Champions is easily the best game available for Move.

Personally I'd pick Heavy Rain and Resident Evil 5 as the best games for the Move, although obviously neither is appropriate for a 5 year old.

I really like:

Heavy Rain
Definitely some of the best motion controlled gaming out there, period. Quantic Dream did a fantastic job of translating the game inputs to the wand. Definitely not appropriate for children, however.

echochrome ii
This is one of the most clever (and challenging) uses of motion control I've seen. Safe for kids, but the game puzzle difficulty ramps up very, very quickly. Unless your kids are child geniuses, I don't recommend this for them.

I'm torn on Killzone 3. It takes a LOT of getting used to and tweaking, but it does offer unparalleled accuracy. I've also played a little bit of SOCOM 4 with the Move. It's actually better than KZ3's since the 3rd person aiming reticle is a little more intuitive. Neither one is (obviously) appropriate for children.

Sports Champions is a reasonable game, but it's a bit on the barebones and shallow side. If you're just looking for a time-waster, the Gladiator and Archery game modes have really neat motion tracking features. I don't think it has enough "cute" factor to draw kids in, however.

I haven't played it, but have heard some mixed comments about PlayStation Move Heroes. It's the only title I can think of offhand that has reasonable motion control and enough kid-friendliness to qualify for the title. EyePet might qualify, but I personally think the EyePet is more creepy than cute.

I guess the moral of the story is that Sony really needs to spend a little more effort and make something that kids can play with the Move.

Move is definitely for a younger casual audience.
Go to the XMB and disable the magnetic sensor under the Accessory Settings tab- select Calibrate Motion Controller and press triangle to disable it. That will eliminate any calibration issues with Time Crisis or any other Move game.

For kids, Eyepet and Start the Party,
Kids and adults can enjoy Sports Champions,
Adults only, definitely Socom 4 (hardcore tactical US Navy Seal based shooter)and Time Crisis (arcade light gun shooter, more cartoonish than Socom 4, but definitely fun, especially the Deadstorm Pirates game that os also on the disc.

Yup thats what I did. I think the user just needs to give it more practice. No one is a sharpshooter expert right out of the box.

Currently, no Move games utilize the magnetic sensor.

My favorites are Sports Champions, Dead Space Extraction and Killzone 3. KZ needs some setting edits though before you play though.
