ok, i'm curious. i'm not trying to bash at all, just trying to understand. what's the big deal about steelbooks? i don't understand why someone would pay so much money on a movie with a different looking case. or is there something special that comes with steelbooks?

this is an awesome movie, i bought it for 15 bucks brand new. can't see paying 70

No, it's just a cover. People pay big money to collect these things just like other people who collect Pez dispensers.

Most of them are not so expensive. You can pickup many Blu-ray SteelBooks from Germany for $30-40 each if you order in bunch (flat 14 Euro shipping). That's why lot of folks are doing group buys to save on shipping.

Yup. Most collectors do not collect Pez dispensers for the candy.

Not yet. Just import the French, UK or soon-to-be German copy.

None of which are from Lion's Gate...the US distributor. There's no indication there will be a re-release any time soon.
