They use exactly the same stock photo, so will there be any difference between the German and the British release? Considering it's only 4 € cheaper than the German release and shipping is not included yet while Amazon has free domestic shipping I'll stick to the German one. If it turns out there are some noticeable differences I might reconsider, otherwise I'll skip this one.

Well, we'll know when they both are released if there's a difference. The covers might change upon release, but for now there's none. You know, I don't mind buying even seven different editions of The Dark Knight

depends on the region freeness to me. Whichever I can play I will buy. Anyone know the studios preference to coding???????? Optimum(UK) vs Kinowelt(DE)?????

That might give us a hint.

Kinowelt is usually region locked, but as far as Optimum, it looks to be a mix of region free/locked

This is probably a stupid question but why does the amazon one show up in my cart as 15.xx instead of the listed 17.xx? I know I'm probably overlooking something.

Are you from the US? Then it doesn't include VAT.

I love this film! The story is just OK, but the music (songs from The Queens) is simply fantastic!
PQ will be sub-par, most likely.

Won't know until it comes out, most likely. Optimum seems to be all over the place with their releases.
