Actually, there is preliminary info that one of the discs is English-friendly.

I have to check later on to confirm.

just read the review of this classic 1963 French comedy by pro-b, but noticed there doesn't seem to be a dedicated thread for it.
anyway, I found this interesting article that came out when news of this release first arrived.
looks like a really fun film.
and, of course, being on Gaumont--the most English friendly studio--certainly helps for NA viewers.

thanks for pointing that out.
when you look at the review for this title that pro-b just posted and go to the link for "forum" it comes up that there is "no discussion"
I figured there probably was a thread somewhere.

any idea why is doesn't show up under the review?

I just got Les Tontons Flinqueurs.. How the heck do I turn on english subtitles? Cant be done in the film, and I don't find anything in the main menu

Hello retask,

Go to the main menu. When the red target appears in your bottom left corner, click on it.

Now go to "Versions". Select "Version Francaise DTS-HD Master Audio 1.0". Click on it.
A new menu will pop up.

Select "Avec sous-tires anglais".
