good "news" for bluray.....although it is really only speculative opinion at the momment.

I also speculate, however, that such bundles are likely to occur

Free (or discounted) Blu-Ray player with purchase of HDTV? That would be the best think they could do. Get everyone purchasing an HDTV ready to go.

I agree...there will be a lot more people buying HDTVs than HDM players...tie one to the other, you're going to move a lot more.

Sony is already offering a free PS/3 with select HDTV when signing up for and purchasing on their credit card.

That would be AMAZING if Sony, Sharp, Panasonic, Pioneer and the rest would offer Blu players with the purchase of an HDTV. It doesnt even have to be free they could sell it for the now famous $98.00 that toshiba is selling they're inferior 1080i machines but instead you get a real machine that plays 1080p

And whoever has the Sony credit card can get a free PS3 if they redeem points to get one of those HDNA TVs. Now who are spare 300000 points to me...

LOL, True! But, I just bought a Bravia 60A3000 in September. Dammit, I want a free blu-ray player.
