I can't wait for this show. Jennifer Love Hewitt is looking incredibly hot.

The Client List is an upcoming American television drama series based on the 2010 television film of the same name, which is set to air on the Lifetime network.Jennifer Love Hewitt will reprise her role from the film.The series is COMING on Sunday April 8th, 2012 at 10 pm.

The series will follow Riley Parks (Hewitt), who is forced to work in a day spa in a local town after being left in financial debt after her husband abandons her and her children. She quickly realizes that the spa gives much more than massages, but must partner with the parlor's owner in order to keep food on the table. While helping to run the business, she struggles to discreetly balance two lives - a single mother who must provide for her family and a strong businesswoman working in a unique and frowned-upon business.

There's nothing really special about Hewitt talent-wise and when it comes to her resume, it's not like Spielberg, Scorsese, Mann, Nolan and Soderbergh are knocking at her door. Her roles are pretty fluffy and her only good movie is probably Heartbreakers, which was decent enough to get Sigourney Weaver, Gene Hackman, Jason Lee and Ray Liotta (back before Liotta was giving Cuba Gooding and Val Kilmer a run for their straight-to-DVD money).

There are plenty of other peoples doors that those directors are not knocking on when it comes to their resumes (Denise Richards and Shannon Elizabeth come to mind).

Actually she was fairly in demand from about '93 to '01 she did Sister Act 2, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Can't Hardly Wait, Heartbreakers and Party of Five. She also recently did Ghost Whisperer which had a pretty good following. She may not be an A list actress but definitely a solid B list one. She's always been a romantic/comedy style actress.

You hit the nail right on the head, seeweda. She is still more in demand and still better than a lot of actresses out there (again, Denise Richards and Shannon Elizabeth come to mind).

Actually it's a really good show, obviously other people will disagree just like anything else. It's not just about the job, it's about Riley (JLH) and her family. The show isn't "graphic," but you get the basic idea of what's going on. I've seen people take the show a little too seriously saying that this makes every masseuse look bad, as if people actually believe that's what they really do. I'm a girl so I don't watch it for the same reason a majority of guys would.

Even though I'm a guy, I like the show as well. The reason why some guys watch it is just a nice bonus for me.

I wonder when Season 2 will finally start.

It's not a bad show, it's simply targeted at female viewers. JLH's legion of male fans would likely prefer the show to be more explicit with less romance. She definitely was looking better in the first season than she had in years. The Client List is light years beyond most of the estrogen programming normally found on Lifetime. I imagine on another network, the show would have gone in severely different directions.

It is very funny how every single client at the massage parlor happens to have model-caliber looks. Apparently in this small town, only the most handsome men use massage parlors.

It's a publicity stunt cooked up to boost the show's ratings. JLH knows the uncensored scenes will never be seen by anyone else but production.
