I'm flirting with the idea of a second BD player, and I always liked Panasonic. But I'm looking for something with a little more "oomph" in the speed department. Yes, I know how fast a PS3 loads. I know, I know.
![]() How does it compare to my Sony BDP-S300 with 3.20 firmware? About 45 seconds to fully turn on the moment I push "power". 30 seconds and under to load a non BD-J movie from the moment the door clips shut. 1:55 to load POTC 1, and some other BD-J movies of the same ilk. While terms like, "My Panasonic is definately faster." is nice, I would greatly appreciate some more tangible numbers. Many thanks. ![]() |
