Default Modern Family: The Complete Fourth Season - September 24, 2013

Modern Family: The Complete Fourth Season Blu-ray

Quote:
Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment has officially announced that it will release on Blu-ray Modern Family: The Complete Fourth Season. The release will be available for purchase online and in stores across the nation on September 24th.

With Jay and Gloria's baby on the way and Haley going off to college, the entire Pritchett/Dunphy clan faces some major surprises as they bicker and bond over house-flipping headaches, unwanted play dates, and everything from hot-tempered hormones to in utero karaoke. Featuring a stellar array of guest stars including Matthew Broderick, Shelley Long and Elizabeth Banks, Season Four takes a heartfelt and laugh-out-loud hilarious look at what it means to be a "Modern Family."

Special Features:
  • Deleted and Alternate Scenes
  • Commentary on "Party Crasher"
  • Commentary on "Fulgencio"
  • An Addition to the Family
  • A Day with Eric
  • Commentary on "Career Day"
  • Commentary on "Goodnight Gracie"
  • A Modern Guide to Parenting
  • "Modern Family" Writers
  • Gag Reel

Similar situation here, but with the third season. I haven't watched past the fourth or fifth episode of that season. Not because it's bad, though! Just because... I don't know, I think some dark forces are trying to pull me away from it!

Definitely asking for this for my birthday this year It's been a tradition since last year to get Modern Family for my birthday. I know, I know, a tradition that only happened once? But, you'll see... when I'm 40 years old, I will have received Modern Family seasons all the way up until that point, once a year on my birthday, every year.

How is the fourth season, anyone that has seen it?

I hadn't watched season 3 until about a month ago. I didn't get to watch any of season 4.

The 4th and 3rd seasons are pretty hit or miss in my opinion. They're not as consistently funny as the first 2.

I agree. I still make it a habit of DVRing and watching all of them, but the quality is not what it used to be. I'll be holding off on the latest season until it drops under $20.

Hopefully it's $20 on Black Friday like the past seasons were.

I guess I am in the minority, I just don't get why people think this show is so great. But then again I love The Big Bang Theory which this sites reviewers love to trash. To each their own I guess.

To anyone who's getting this tomorrow, would someone mind posting a screencap from the episode "My Hero" from the scene where Claire is running the concessions stand at the roller rink? It's the scene where she's serving the two kids and keeps their change, if that helps.

Is anyone else having trouble with the "season play" option?
I fell asleep watching this last night, so I wanted to watch the episodes on disc 2 I had missed. I got the prompt screen to change discs. Did what the screen said to do to get out of season play mode. It didn't work. So I popped in disc 2, tried to get out of season mode. Didn't work. Fast forwarded through all of disc 2. Didn't work. Finally I had to unplug my blu ray player to get my second disc to work. All I would get is a black screen unless I inserted my third disc and continued where I "left off".

Am I the only one with this problem?

I wish I could help you. I hate "season play" mode because I've encountered problems such as yours. I got out of it somehow, but I don't remember how.

To those still looking to pick up season 4 this week at the sale price, Target has an exclusive with a Phil Dunphy pillow case. I couldn't find this on the site, nor on Target's website.

Initially I thought it came with a slipcover, but alas, it was just for the Phillow case, as the front of the cardboard slip is blank and the case doesn't fit inside the "psuedo" slip cover

My mind... it can't handle all the wacky angles of those photos! D:

Does anyone know if this will be on sale soon?

I finally finished up the third season, and actually ended up rewatching the first two seasons too. Such a great show

So I want this season, but $44.99 is just a tad pricey for me, especially with Mario Kart 8 coming out later this month D:

Anyone hear of any sales coming up?
