Taste for them has reduced, last couple found footage movies performed poorly:

Into the Storm opened #3
Earth to Echo opened #6
Devil's Due opened #7
Even the last Paranormal Activity film opened #2.

Still, we haven't had a decent performing Horror film this year, this'll probably succeeded in a slow weekend.

Dies anyone know how many theatres Life of Crime will be playing in this weekend?

If they weren't going that stupid VOD route I would have expected with that cast Roadside would have gone 300+ like Mud, A Most Wanted Man, and most of their movies with big names. I suppose they still could bring it to as many as they can while also being a VOD release. Should be good for 100+ anyway.

Chef goes wide again this weekend. That was a delightful movie that did really well but deserved even more. Of course the same could be said for Begin Again. Both are such crowd-pleasing movies.

I didn't even hear about As Above, So Below till I was at the theater this last weekend. That seemed to come out of nowhere.

The November Man is so good ! I didn't have high expectactions and it is easily the best spy movie in the past decade or two... i haven't enjoy a film of this genre since Goldeneye in 1995 with the same actor !!

Really too bad about The November Man review. I really like Brosnan, I would have loved to see him in the Craig movies. Probably still buy it on Blu-ray, not worth going to theaters though.
