Hollywood Video to carry Blu ray - Blu-ray Forum

Hi. I am new to the forum so bear with me. I currently work at Hollywood Video and was told by my boss that we should be getting in blu rays by November. He said Hollywood wants to be the forerunner in renting them. I just thought this was cool.

My question is... Are they also getting HD-DVDs in for rental as well? That could be a major win for BD.

I know there are a few Hollywood stores that carry HD DVD's. They did this I think to see how they rented. But as far as I know, the majority of Hollywood stores will be supporting blu ray only. I'll keep you posted if I find anything out though.

We don't have a definite date but I know they want to have them in the store by the time the PS3 comes out. I'm thinking late October/early November. I'll let you know if I find anything out though.
