I´m excited how this animation movie will be look in 1080p

OK, first of all, this is a little review of the „European Blu-ray Disc“
( There´s maybe a little difference to the U.S Version, especially Language )

But here we go...


PQ:

The Movie comes with a 50GB Disc (MPEG-4/AVC) and the Picture is super clear.
The animations are very smooth, and it´s just amazing to see all this yellow colors on your TV-Screen. It´s like a living comic book with stunning colors.

Little notice:
(At first you may think that your TV settings are false, because it will look like kind of 4:3. But It´s all part of the movie, It´ll change to 16:9. )


AQ:

The Audio tracks in this movie includes an
„English 5.1 DTS HD Master Audio ( lossless ) sound“

Well, I guess I don´t have the best speakers to judge this, but what i´ve heard was very good.
This is no movie who has to prove any stunning Action sound quality.
It sounded all clear to me, no distortion of the voices or something.


Extras:

Well, all good things sometimes have a bad side...
The Special Features on this movie are a little poor, They are all in Full 1080p, but still sparsely, NO „Making-of“ for instance
( which would have been a nice ad... )

The Special Features are:

• 7 Deleted Scenes
( which they could easily add to the movie itself )
• A few Trailers ( I guess you already know them from TV )

You have also some commentary extras, but I guess that´s no bad point to talk about.
• Commentary from the Crew Members
• Regie Commentary


And for the Blu-ray Case itself...

• The Case has NO booklets or anything.
(It´s just an empty case with a Disc inside.)

• No adornment inside (like SONY does).
(Not bad at all, just a litte notice for you)



I don´t want to comment the movie itself, because everybody has a different taste, but you can definitely enjoy this movie with your whole family.

It´s an animated eye catcher you shouldn´t miss!


A little special notice:

After the main movie, watch all the credit stuff, because there are still some jokes around, and Maggie says their first word.... what will it be ?! ... You watch!

When I played The Simpsons Game, I found it strange to watch the animation at 720p.
Will be great to watch the movie on bd!

usually I just can t bear french dubbing but if there should be just one, this one should be the simpsons!! homer's french voice acting is just so hilarious!

I watched the Simpsons movie, I wasnt all that impressed with the movie plot its self, it was like an extended episode.Not really excited about this one

Agreed, I get bored with the 30 min show. I'll wait for the reviews on this one, maybe I'll rent it on Blu.

Yes its allready released here in germany! The PQ should be 5/5, no doubt about it! i wonder if Master and Commander will be also released on 12/03.
