There will be no box office dance-off, bro. Pratt wins the weekend.

I really want to see 7.

The only review I've seen gave it a B- though. :/

I'm thinking:

1) TM7
2) Blair Witch
3) Sully
4) Bridget Jones's Baby
5) Storks

From now until the end of the year, the film release schedule will bring some nice offerings. For this weekend, Magnificent Seven will have a very good bow...a sure #1.

Sully will be in its third weekend, Blair Witch will drop 70% from its initial weekend, Storks & the Bridget Jones movie appeal to a totally different demographic...and Snowden will be a flop and non factor.

Thus, Magnificent Seven for +$50 million .

Blair Witch will have a huge drop from weekend one to weekend two...that I am 99.9% sure of .

Magnificent 7 will easily win, but I don't see it having a huge weekend. Maybe $60M-70M.

Yeah, M7 will be the top winner no doubt. Denzel and Pratt lure mass amounts of moviegoers.

P.S Lets not forget Denzel's last movie was 2 years ago with The Equilazer. How can M7 not be a mass hit?

Yeah maybe you're right, for this time of year.

I had passes to see Storks last weekend, but then I saw the trailer and was like "Nah..."

The chances of Sully besting M7 are minus infinity.

LMAO. How is that not HUGE? It is especially this time of year but hell, for this movie in the summer that would be like the ceiling. I'm thinking it does 50+ though. Should be big.

Honestly going to low ball it and say $40 - $45 mill. I just don't think the hype is all there, it'll pull people in, but not huge audiences.

Wife and I checked out Storks this past Saturday at a screening. Since we are expecting our first child right now, it was probably why we liked it so much. Hope it does well. But I'll be paying to see Mag7 this Thursday
