Red face New Blu's purchased yesterday!

I did some Blu Shopping yesterday with the wife.

F4 - Rise of the Silver Surfer (watched it, not that bad)
300
Resident Evil: Apocalypse
Eight Below (I liked it on 1080i on HBO or Cinemax can't remember)
Mr. and Mrs. Smith

and...

Babel wooohoo

The local FYE at my closest mall had all the uncommon/rare Paramount titles for $39.99 though which is where I got Babel. I don't mind the price too much considering I wanted the movie.

They had Shooter, Dreamgirls, Black Rain, Tomb Raider, Italian Job man it sucked because I only really wanted Babel but only had so much money on me.

FANTASTIC FOUR: ROTSS was great! (Sorry, had to put that in.)

Now, if they'd release the first FF movie with the extended cut, I'd be in heaven.

Sounds like you and the wife had a wonderful Blu shopping day. And thanks for relating the experience of shopping for Blu disks in an actual store. (I haven't bought a Blu disk--ever--other than online. The thought of fighting crowds....)

haha no problem.. I live in the middle of coal region bumble *expletive* so the malls here aren't exactly crowded.

I want to go back and get Shooter which I probably will end up doing.

FYE prices are ricidilious high! Even on Paramount but, its where i brought my Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow yesterday... I did not think Nacho Libre was worth 39.99.. I would go FYE just to buy paramount movies. I think Babel would be cheaper at best buy than at FYE.. IMO

hehe, problem for me is Best Buy is 35 miles one way trip. So you talking waste of gas to get a small discount. Plus I have 2 kids with one on the way I can't just take off for 2+ hours at a time to pickup a movie

I paid $40 for Babel which hey o well.
I would only get Shooter for $40 also all the other Paramount don't thrill me too much.

My Best Buy has like 5 Babel's for 25 each and Shooter for 35.
