I disagree 100%. He has shown so much great acting chops in the few roles he has already. He's one of my favorite up-and-coming actors. I'd love to see him in this role.

He was the most likable guy in Chronicle. He was the popular kid in school, the athlete, and still hung out and became BFF's with the weird nerdy kid. And was super super super charismatic in doing so.

He doesn't have to be suave or debonair. He just has to be able to pretend to be suave or debonair and from what I've seen he's pretty good at the whole pretending to be other people thing.

Really like Jordan, but the only reason this is being RE-MADE is to appeal towards a certain demographic. Both versions are good and I loved Pierce's. No reason to remake this so soon and for the third time when that version still comes on tv all the time!

I'm all for it. Plus, I find it amusing that it's the same guy that sent nerds into a rage for being cast as a previously white character again. My mom loves the Thomas Crowne movies, and when I told her about this remake, she said they should cast Gugu Mbatha-Raw as the lead actress.

Cool. I'll watch MBJ in anything, he's absolutely one of the most talented actors of his generation.

McQueen was in his late thirties, when he played the role. Brosnan was in his mid forties when he played the role. Michael B Jordan is still a year shy of his thirtieth birthday. Seems a little young to be taking on this role, as written in previous versions. A few changes to the formula and it might work, but a risky proposition, imo.

You go from the coolest man ever to 007 to The Human Torch. Jordan is a good actor, loved him on FNL, but he is a gigantic step down from his two predecessors. This is beyond pointless.

I've never seen Fantastic Four, and it's a real shame if that's the exposure you have of MBJ.

You should really check out Chronicle, Fruitvale Station, and Creed. His acting has progressed a lot, and he's a truly amazing performer.

Even if I thought he was Nick Cannon for the longest time.
