Cool Who needs backround noise to sleep???

Weather it is a Fan, Ac, Humidifier, or Music who else needs some backround noise to sleep??????

I personally need a window AC in the Summer & a Fan in the Winter.

I have a hard time going to sleep without the TV on.

I used to have a hard time falling asleep in the dark (weird, I know) because for years I used to read in bed and basically pass out with the TV in the background. My fiance couldn't handle the light/reading, but I still haven't been able to kick the TV.

I have to have some sort of background noise to go to sleep. I ususally turn on the fan in my master bathroom so I can go to sleep. Hell and here I was thinking I was weird.

I take a small fan with me whenever I am on the road or else I won't be able to sleep. I'm hot natured so I need it to keep cool, plus i cannot sleep without some kind of steady, low noise (fan works perfectly).

Radio or music here but yes, definitely require some background noise. Same at the office, I'm at least twice as productive with a bit of music on in the background.

When I sleep I don't want to hear anything at all. I also need the room to be pitch black.

No noise at all is best for me... but if there is white noise of some sort, it will put me to sleep, but I never seem to sleep WELL if that's the case.

Lived in Hawaii for 2 1/2 years. There the noise late at night from partyers doing their thing (they actually thought everyone in Hawaii was on vacation--idiots!) kept me up late into the night. Then, in the morning, every morning, birds of all kinds woke me up--much too early. Now, I live in Seattle area and nothing but quiet. I sleep best without noise--including my often snoring wife--if I can't get to sleep before her, I can't sleep.

Another Fan guy here.

I've been doing the Fan for years, it's so bad (or good) depending on how you look at it, that I never get sick anymore even if it's blowing directly on me, even in the winter...I am immune to it lol.

This has however created an awkward sleeping arrangement with my GF or Myself having to go to the couch so she won't get sick and so I can sleep. She catches a cold seemingly the moment cool air hits her.

I am screwed on nights where the power goes out, i can't sleep then because even the humm from the electricity is gone and it's eerily quiet in the house.

It's also kind of embaressing when you are on a business trip or vacation and you are lugging a fan up to your hotel room so you can sleep good.

My brother is the same way, he takes it to extremes...he'll be asleep under an electric blanket with the fan on...lol
