That's it?

Inferno may come first unless Ouija: Origin Of Evil possibly repeats since it's:

1. A horror movie.
2. Teens love these types of films
3. Original performed well.
4. Close to Halloween.
5. Has good reviews.

Inferno will easily take #1. Won't do as well as it's predecessors, but there is a dedicated fanbase for it, and Tom Hanks automatically gets some people in seats.

It should have a good drop. The first only dropped 46% in its 2nd weekend despite the horrid reviews and WOM.

Inferno shouldn't have a problem winning the weekend. Though it's been seven years since the last Robert Langdon adventure (and the production was rather difficult as the book wasn't the easiest to adapt), marketing has been everywhere and Hanks and Felicity Jones have had high-profile exposure lately (Hanks with Sully, Jones with the forthcoming Rogue One). Though in a small for a tentpole 3,400 theatres, it should take in at least $30 million. Maybe $35 million.

I can't see Ouija holding that well. It's only expected to top out at $15 million for the current weekend against competition from other PG-13 movies. I also think Jack Reacher holds better (the first opened soft against The Hobbit and several other films but held in later weeks).

Inferno only made $800K last night. With the World Series going on, it will probably make less than $20M.

You could say that Inferno is failing to set the box-office on fire.
