Default Does the BOGO sales SPOILED you?

I'm itching to buy "Blade Runner" through AMAZON since it is only $27.95 and I don't have to pay tax or shipping but I go through the whole process of checking out (3x now) and right at the end, I start thinking what if another BOGO sale is coming up and I wouldn't have to spend another $20-25 on another movie, i.e. 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY from WB.

The only thing BOGO has done for me is make me broke and buy movies I normally would not.

No kidding about the last part. I never would have bought crap like Beerfest if I wasn't desperate to find another title for a BOGO.

Kinda off topic, but Im getting spoiled from buy.com and their $10 off google checkout, I just got Total Recall for $6.00 Shipped!! Thats just to good of a deal to pass up. They have a ton of other movies that list for $16 so with the google checkout your looking at about $8 shipped.

Yeah, I'm spoiled.

Like a rotten tuna casserole that has been out in the sun for 2 days.

the movie is 5 discs. Just buy it at that great price. I doubt it would be included in a B1G1 offer, at least not anytime soon

I'm definitely spoiled. But I look at this as the equivalent of the glory days at the beginning of DVD. The online coupons of those days are something I still long for in my dreams. They seemed to pop up by the hundreds, I bought DVDs from dozens of different sites just to use the maximum number of coupons.

Those days eventually came to an end and now online coupons, especially those that are not just for new customers or not useable for movies are rare gold. Someday the BOGOs will go the same way, but those of us who are here now will always have the memories of how our collections grew so much faster than we ever thought would because of the wonderful days of the BOGO age.

bogo's have made me stop buying catalog titles when they are released. I am weary when I order new releases as well. but not that worried about new releases being bogoed. what makes the addiction worse is amazon prime. then I can order 1 titles at a time or 2 (if there is a sale) and not need to get to $25 to get free shipping.
