Cool I have summed up some things here. To do lists for both formats.

What does HD DVD need to do if they want to win the format war:

1. They have to convince the biggest movie studios to release for their format. (do not count Twentieth Century Fox and Walt Disney here )
2. They have to convince hardware companys to produce HD DVD players and drives.
3. They have to convince hardware companys to freeze production of Blu-Ray drives and player or at least to outstrip Blu-Ray production. (LOL )
4. They have the hope that PS3 - the most successfull game console will fail bad. (BIG LOL )
5. They have to enable support for 1080 progressive resolution.
6. They have to stop loosing support.

What does Blu-Ray need to do if they want to win the format war:

1. They have to release 32 ( ) more movies to take the lead.
2. Panasonic, Pioneer, Philips, Samsung, Sharp and Sony have to outsell Toshiba. (not much effort here eh?)

So, who do you think have the easyest tasks to do?
