Two Werewolf Cult Favorites - 2000's GINGER SNAPS and 2002's DOG SOLDIERS - will be coming to Scream Factory as Collector's Editions in the Summer of 2014! Deal was just signed recently.

I'm sure people are going to be miffed because this isn't an '80s movie. But their loss.

I'm loving this news, especially with Dog Soldiers. I don't think people are necessarily going to be miffed about these two not being '80s films, but because they're not boring run of the mill garbage slasher films. Enough is enough when it comes to SF releasing primarily slashers. We need a bit of variety from them.

Underrated and under seen Horror gem. The Canadian DVD is good but I'll upgrade day one.

I don't believe I've ever seen Ginger Snaps, but there's no better time to finally see it with Scream Factory's release next Summer.

You are in for a treat. It's a film that defies the belief that English Canadian films are bad and one that does not deserve the obscurity tag.

Excellent. I love this movie. Hopefully we'll get the 2 sequels as a double feature release in the future.

Sadly, it's unlikely. Millennium had the first one (due to acquisitions) while Lionsgate has the sequels.
