Just PG, I would think that JR box set would come out on 7/29 too. Nothing yet.

Those were probably done just because they were supposed to be out in October last year... on Blu-ray.

Paramount was making Dolby TrueHD standard on all their future Blu-ray releases. I don't know why this would be any different.

The JR titles were done last year (though I don't remember if they were one of the ones replicated), and that's when Paramount was making "lossless" (mostly PCM) standard. They didn't start making Dolby TrueHD standard until this year.

However, I agree... I believe this title should at least have PCM on it. Hopefully it's just a mistake...

I'd love it if Paramount released all the Jack Ryan movies separately, then I'd get The Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games, and Clear and Present Danger. The Sum of All Fears was not bad, but I don't like that glorified pretty-boy Ben Affleck. However, I'll get it for Morgan Freeman.

the Sum of All Fears is quite possibly one of the worst book to movie adaptations out there. Completely different than the book, which was amazing; I am ashamed to say that I bought it on dvd, though I only paid like 2 bucks for it since no one else wanted it. The others are excellent and I have heard rumors of a Without Remorse movie adaptation that I hope comes out. Mr. Clark kicks a**.

Geonosis,

You are getting VERY handy to have around.

I must say that I like you WAY more here on bluray.com than I did on highdefdigest.com. Eventhough, I didnt dislike you on HDD. I see you've moved here because HDD is now a lair for disgruntled HD-DVD fans.

Seriously, do take a look at it and you will see several posters that are hell bent on blowing up every blurays doomsday article.

Kosty is now actually one of the good guys, believe it or not.

Without Remorse has to be one of my favorite books. And you're right, getting a view into Mr. Clark's history really adds to the re-reading of earlier titles when we only suspected he was a true tough guy.

Thanks for the heads up....I hope the come out with the collection as I am a fan of all the movies (even SOAF).......

The Paramount move to TrueHD is only for "new" titles...Any titles that were already "done" will ahve whatever tracks they had to start with, they are not (as of now) going back and adding lossless tracks where there were none to begin with. That being said, this is still a few months away and specs could and sometimes do change. Lets wait for the official announcement before we jump on the "what no lossless" bandwagon....

Yeah, but if I remember right these were announced with PCM on them, or Dolby TrueHD, can't remember for sure though.
