My TV app was broken in TVOS 12. I show that I don't own any videos. I think it's happening to others as well. Does anyone have an update on this? I am not getting any responses from Apple about this and the beta 12.1 did not fix the issue. Logging in and out of ICloud and Itunes and also doing a hard reset and update of the software did not help. I tried that several times.

This problem is still not resolved so I just called Apple and they want me to bring it in to an Apple store. Have you tried this? Have you had any luck? Plan to bring mine in next weekend.

This happened to me a while back. The problem is I have 2 apple TVs and they both show 0 movies owned in the TV app which makes me think it's a problem on Apple's end, and not our hardware. If my history with apple customer service is any indication they will deny it's their problem and eventually end up fixing it without admitting there ever was anything wrong.

The only thing you really need the TV app for is to see how many 4K movies you have in the 4K and HDR section on the Library page of the TV app. If they moved that screen to the Movies app, you don't even need the TV app.

Take Thunderbirds(original tv series) for example, iTunes order completely out of running order but via the TV app they playback in correct running order. Granted if it’s only being used to see what 4K content you have then yes I’d agree they could quite easily put that under the purchased section. |

It's definitely related to certain aspects of accounts it seems.
Cannot get it to work on my main account (says I have 0 videos) - if I sign in on a different Apple ID with 1/6th the number of items that I have in my main account, it loads instantly ![]() Wish Apple would just move the 4K subcategory into the main Movies section ![]() |

Mine is still broken. Did you do anything to get it to work? I signed out and back in, still didn't work, so then downloaded the latest beta and it still doesn't work. So I don't think they have really fixed the issue unless they are fixing individual accounts one at a time.

No, did you unhide them? I can check and see if unhiding any other old hidden movies will make a difference.
