New 150 inch 2160p x 4k Plasma screen by Panasonic

Soon consumers will be able to purchase a 150 inch Panasonic Plasma screen to go on the wall. Price most likely will be over $100,000 for first generation models. Consumers will need a strong wall to hold this heavy thing.

Well, looks like I'll be getting that later in the future. I've been looking for an HDTV that size for quite awhile. But for $100,000, I'll wait ten more years or so until the price goes down

the only benefit i could see to this (plasma), is you don't have to have to have the room completely dark for it to look good.

i think if you have enough money to buy a 100k tv, you probably have those big mansion doors that enter into a great vaulted room or you have a retractable sun roof in you living room (thats how we got ours in).

If you have a plasma this size do you even need to have a wall to hold it up? Wouldn't the TV itself become its own wall, just have the contractor run the cabling through the wall and frame the room right around the TV, LOL
