Default Panasonic Viera TH-42PZ85U 42-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV

This TV is perfect. I did alot of research before buying. I wanted to spend a little over $1200. For the money this TV was the best bet. The picture quality is amazing and it was even delivered 4 days early! Definitely recommended.

I am about a year out from a new TV (just got one a year and a half ago), but when I do get a new one it will be a Panasonic plasma. Their price to performance ratio is out of this world....

One suggestion I will make is to get yourself a calibration dvd and some tweaking. Panasonics are left in vivid mode when you buy them which have alot of the picture settings cranked. You will find yourself bringing down the sharpness and contrast control a noticeable difference. Then your picture will really look great when properly calibrated

Truly an excellent choice. Those models are relatively easy to calibrate. I bet you could find the ISF settings for it by googling.
