Default Best Buy selling an upconverting/HD-DUD for $150

This weeks sales sheet has a Toshiba HD-DUD for $150. the funny think is that it is marketed first and foremost as an upconverting DVD player. I love it!!!!!

Both CC and BB are having the HD DVD $150 + 7 free movie ad this week.
It's just the desperate push by Tosh to try to make sales during the Superbowl week.

Or .. emptying stocks maybe ?

I felt kinda sad to not see Blu Ray players anywhere, but the PS3 was well represented (no trace of Xbox).

I convinced a dead buyer in Best Buy to not purchase a player. The salesman had the player on the counter, and took him to pick out a Monster hdmi cable. He had to help another customer and thats when I stepped in and explained the situation on the format war. I asked if he had heard about Warner's decision to go Blu exclusive, and he had no clue about the studio or CE's support for either format. I told him to go Blu and buy a PS3. Funny how the player was $148.00 and the salesman wanted to sell him a $100.00 Monster cable. I told him to buy cables at monoprice when he needed them.
