Not sure how this slipped through the cracks on here, but was going to post about this since the open beta is available now and nothing came up when I searched.

Anyways, early access for the open beta started today. As far as I know, you can get in if you pre-ordered it or are on the WBGames newsletter. I got an email invite today from WBGames, but I haven't downloaded it yet to try it. Not sure if I'll try it on the Series X or PS5 since I have very few people that play online games on my friends list on PSN.

The fact that B4B will be coming to Game Pass on release makes this an easy choice imo.

I played a few maps of the campaign & played around with the difficulty settings. My friend & I both thought that it nowhere near captured the intensity & thrill of L4D2, even on the difficult settings. This might be harsh but it got stale as quick as Destruction Allstars.

I'm got motion sickness within 10 minutes from the 2 separate times I tried it, though not as severe as what RE Village did to me. I guess I won't be able to play this. Too much mileage on the eyes.

I tried a bit of the Versus and thought it was awful, although I wasn't much of a fan of the Versus on Left 4 Dead either. If I remember correctly after many years, I would say it was still better though. Having you win based on survival time isn't the greatest.

I still want to try a portion of the campaign though to see if I think it comes close to Left 4 Dead there or not. If not, it'll be a shame since I was really excited for this when it was announced given how awesome the two Left 4 Dead games were.
