SYNOPSIS
Throughout his life Edward Bloom (Ewan McGregor) has always been a man of big appetites, enormous passions and tall tales. In his later years, portrayed by five-time Best Actor Oscar® nominee Albert Finney (Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Erin Brockovich, 2000), he remains a huge mystery to his son, William (Billy Crudup). One of my favorite Tim Burton films! Along with Mars Attacks!

This is so exciting. I’ve been waiting years to watch this again in hopes of a 4K UHD release.

This is Burton’s last great film.

Just the right push for me to finally watch this one. I’m a fan of most of Burton’s work, but this is one of the few I’ve somehow never seen yet.

Good news. With any luck I’ll be in my new house by May and this will be one of the first new releases I watch in the new space. I think I got a digital HD copy of this for free at some point but I never got around to watching it.

Totally agree — this is the last movie of his that I really enjoyed. Can't wait to see this on a 4K disc and no doubt cry again at the ending.

Maybe I'm missing something. For a disc that's approaching 15 years old, I don't recall the blu-ray being a "mess."

I could be wrong, but last time I watched it, I thought it looked and sounded pretty solid.

It was never promised in LOTR's press release.
