Dragonball Z remastered great, horrible, or in between?

I have Season 1 but I've only watched a few minutes of it. I've seen discussions where the video has been cropped to make it widescreen, and normally I detest that but it sounds like if I'm going to get my DBZ fix this is by far the cheapest and easiest way to do so. Is it worth my while to invest in the other 3 seasons that are out now?

BTW, for all you Search Nazis, I searched under 'dragonball' and only found two threads that had nothing to do with this topic so nyah.

They're worth it, that's your short answer.

They've been remastered so the PQ is as good as you will get on DBZ atm, also they are Uncut which makes even more footage available & you get original audio in japanase alongside the US audio

It would have been nice to have the full uncropped version in widescreen, but guess that won't happen for many years now

off topic, but I find this comment interesting. I just typed Dragonball and got 8 Dragonball threads. Do you search on the basic search box only? I automatically always use advanced Search

I might have narrowed it down to just one forum, but I do recall using the advanced search.
