Disney remastered Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers in HD a while back. Those copies are the ones on Disney+.

They did this for a few shows (Goof Troop, Timon and Pumbaa and New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh), but not DuckTales.

Disney+ has it cropped and not the proper aspect ratio. Here's to hoping they didn't screw this one. I heard supposedly on the iTunes HD versions it's in the correct 4:3 but I don't buy digital so can't confirm.

Oh wow!!! Been waiting for years for ANY 80's Disney cartoons to hit blu-ray, what an awesome surprise! Like others have mentioned, please follow up with Duck Tales & Gummi Bears

Somebody at Disney needs to know that Aladdin the series deserves the same treatment.

Didn't realize these had an hd source like film. Used to play the NES game a lot as a kid, though I can't recall watchng the show a whole lot. Disney was actually a paid premium channel back then. We had Showtime and TMC at the time; possibly HBO, but not Disney.

I'm surprised that this is coming out the normal retail route instead of being a DMC exclusive.

Fan of this show I was a kid and Chip is one of my favorite. I'm surprise this announcement coming to Blu-ray of Complete Series.

Don't hold your breath. If D+ has it cropped, it means that it was remastered that way. Unless, they did 2 masters (highly unlikely) you are going to get D+ version on blu-ray.

Great news! I thought releases were done as it might deter people from watching them on Disney+. Everyone should support these releases to get them to release more.

It was released OAR in HD on Amazon digital before the cropped versions showed up on D+.
