I remember mainly Disney's Zorro, with Guy Willaims, that was a great series (imo) and I loved how the plot was evenly balanced with the adventure of Zorro/Don Diego. Though I was curious why Diego wasn't interested in the woman during Season 1 cause he came off alil gay in Season 1 when he was "focused" on Books, Guitars, etc. But I guess Walt's team was more concerned on the story itself Here's a bonus feat bout the Zorro Property |

Yes this is restored. Ive just been watching the artist paint film dirt and scratches from the master a few moments ago.
Ill try and get him to export me a Frame to show the kind of work thats being Fixed. Original print looks very nice and grainy, but has some damage to be fixed. Edit - i think this master runs 1hr 58 min Last edited by danyuld; 09-14-2012 at 11:11 PM. |

This was scanned 2k Last year, and a number of cleanups took place at that time, the final polish for Blu Ray is being applied now. Grain has not been touch at all. Not AT ALL. I know this because I made sure of it personally. This is a clean scan, Colour correction and clean of print damge release only. The release will feature DTS HD MA 2.0

It SAYS that it's "B", but says regions A, C untested. I picked it up for a buddy of mine who missed out on the regular US/Canadian Somerville House release. It played fine in his standard/region A only player.

https://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/58940/zorro-1975/
Is this the Italian/uncut version of the movie running 118 minutes, without being butchered like the 80 minutes-long American theatrical version? This is a list of the footage - 7 minutes - missing from the German and French blu-rays anyway: https://www.schnittberichte.com/schn....php?ID=101270 For example: From Amazon: "I have tried for years to obtain the complete uncut (in English) Delon ZORRO and finally I'm 99.98% there. I love this film and this release is fantastic, with ONE exception. It's missing one final bit of footage in which the young Polito girl delivers some kinda moral boosting speech to the crowd just after Zorro has defeated the tyrant colonel. If you've ever seen the many truncated versions that are everywhere you may have wondered how Zorro gets from the top of the building to be seen by the crowds on his rearing horse at the end of the film so FAST. Well, it's not so fast when the gal delivers her speech to the crowd. How do I know this scene exists? I have a wide screen version in FRENCH that came from ASIA some years ago, and since I don't know French I can't tell you exactly what she is saying to the crowd, but it does give Zorro some time to get to his horse and to make his final dramatic rearing stead exit." Hope to get some feedback. This is one of my Top 10 adventure/superhero movies of all times. Thanks. |

I don't know about the Region A version reviewed in that link, but I own the UK Region B Blu-ray from '101 Films' of this film and, despite running 120 mins, it certainly doesn't have that scene described in that quote. I wouldn't be surprised if both releases are from the same source, but obviously I don't know for sure.
I blind bought this film and really enjoyed it. Reminded me of the R Lester Musketeers movies. Though the ending did seem rather choppy. Now I know why. |
