https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Arrow...lu-ray/158686/ Thought I would start a thread for this today since it just came out. Also at least it is using 4 BD-50's unlike the severe compression we are seeing from similar titles such as Supergirl, Vampire Diaries S7 and Legends of Tomorrow. Really like the 1st 3 seasons hopefully this is good. Last edited by PRO-630HD; 08-31-2016 at 03:01 PM. |

I ended up getting the DVD.I know I'm sacrificing the picture/sound but I can live with that.I just didn't want to risk having the stuttering problem in my BD drive that Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow are having. That for me is much worse then watching a DVD.The stuttering for me makes the disks unwatchable on my PC and that is my Preferred place to watch my movies/tv shows.
My Gotham season 2 blu rays are fine so Arrow and the Flash probably would be too(4 disks for a full season) but I just didn't want to take the chance. What I'll do,is wait to see if anybody has the stuttering problem with Arrow Season 4.If I don't see any reports then I may take the chance on the Flash season 2 blu ray set next week. |

Has anyone else noticed periodic flashings of light throughout episodes? Mostly in night shots of the city, or in the Arrow cave. As an example, watch episode 2 -- at the beginning of Chapter 4 when they're having a team meeting, or at the end of the episode when Lance and Oliver chat in the police headquarters after the mother/daughter reunion.
Anyone know what this is? Noticed another reviewer witnessed it. Disabling "super resolution" and other settings seems to help, but it is still somewhat noticeable. Could it just be a few defective copies? Note: The Netflix streams do not seem to have this issue, although this could simply be not noticeable due to the lower resolution. Thanks so much! In episode 2 "The Candidate," you can see it happen at the 35:05 mark while detective Lance and Oliver speak. Mostly noticeable on the top left of the screen. Lasts until around 35:45 (visible in the top of the trees also when the scene changes to the island).
Also during the 9:40 mark earlier in that episode, though the flashes here became less noticeable when I messed with some of the TV settings. This seems to recur in darker shots of the city during transition scenes. Thanks for checking! |
