I think she's still a very attractive woman, and talented to boot. I haven't seen lots of her work over the years, but she did a great job in A Beautiful Mind. Of course, The Rocketeer is a favorite, and I was surprised by her voice role in Spider-Man: Homecoming. She made a very good Betty Ross in Ang Lee's Hulk, too - one of that movie's enduring good traits.

Where did you hear she suffers from that? I know she purposely exercised like crazy to lose weight in 2013, playing a homeless person opposite husband Paul Bettany. Also, no one's body stays the same at 47, versus 21.

These photos are from when she played a homeless junkie in the film Shelter. She decided to lose a lot of weight for the role. When male actors like Christian Bale do that they are admired for it. When an actress does it she hits the tabloids with speculations that she's anorexic.

Her massive weight loss after she got a reduction was due to her dealing with her father's death at the time. Paul Bettany talked about this at the time. She was going through things at that time. She never spoke of it.
