The Ninja Trilogy (1981-1984) coming to 4K from Kino Lorber

I was just watching Cereal at Midnight's new interview with Frank Tarzi, and Frank revealed that they are working on 4K UHD editions of Enter the Ninja, Revenge of the Ninja and Ninja III: The Domination!

Frank is expecting these to come out sometime in 2026. The plan is to offer them separately, as well as in a box set.

I'm surprised Shout didn't do Ninja III because they did a 4K scan after their original blu-ray release did so well.

Yeah, it seems like they lost the rights, but their releases are very much still available (heck, I bought it during one of those going OOP sales years ago and it's still available). The remastered BD is only $8 on Amazon right now.

Although some didn't like the color grading in some scenes in Shout's 4K restoration, the Collector's Edition blu-ray is worth buying just for the new extras:

I know Eureka released the trilogy on Blu-ray in the UK. Maybe they'll get the 4K rights also. I didn't even know these were getting released in 4K until I just now saw this thread. Revenge of the Ninja was a childhood favorite of mine.

As much as I love the trilogy, give me that Ninja III The Domination ASAP. A freaking classic as far as I’m concerned. Can not wait to see this in 4K.

if they do and i don't think they will but if Eureka do release them then enter the ninja will be cut for cock fighting scenes like they did when they released all three on blu-ray in 2016.
