I think Kino want to not put their eggs in one basket, see how well this one is received and sells before moving onto the next ones. Plus it’s an obvious choice after their other MGM 4K UHDs (Mad Max, Spaceballs) and the Eastwood directed films getting much improved releases.

I think they are just going to stagger them out till they are all paid for, then boxset.

Or they've partnered up with another label to split the costs of transfers.

Only hesitation is whether the rest of the trilogy will follow suit and I should just wait for the set. But I guess we may not get the rest unless this sells well. So whatever, I'm in.
