I do see one difference in these two pics that reveals the BD version beats the DVD one (at least IMO)

There is just too much brightness on her face (and too whitish). While in the Blu-ray version, it is more natural and the colors are applied properly this time.

Great to see these pics though

Damn this movie is expensive! I do want to get it though. The audio in the movie was awesome on the regular dvd and is going to be a lot better on blu-ray (crossing my fingers).

My copy turned up this morning, but I haven't had a chance to look at it yet.
Out of interest, where were these pictures originally posted?

Theoreticaly DVD image shuold be blown up to 1920x1080 size, then it'd be valid comparison, that's what U watch on TV, zoomed image.

I saw some footage of this movie on Daily Planet (DiscoveryHD) and it was absolutely stunning.

Just sampled a few minutes of it on my Panasonic BD player connected to my Dell 23" LCD TV from about two years ago. It looks gorgeous. I can't wait to get it up to my main setup.

Monday. I sampled it last night and want to give it some more time today. It does make me wish I could get my 1080p set earlier though but it looks gorgeous on my 720p set. Very film-like.
