According to the site, here’s the plot for The Gallows 2…

"After aspiring actress Ana Rue transfers to a prestigious new school, her desires are twisted by a viral challenge capable of conjuring a malevolent spirit."

The cast includes Ema Horvath, Brittany Falardeau and Chris Milligan.

I seem to be the only one who thought the first one was a fun time. No, it's not going to go down as a legend or class in the horror catalog, but it was still a good time and it probably helps that I saw it with a girl I liked at the time. Looking forward to the sequel.

There's another rumor going around that Blumhouse shot Unfriended 2 in secret as well. Are all of the most forgettable movies of 2015 getting sequels?

I guess so. Sequels = $$$$ it seems. No matter how horrible or boring they were.

Obviously, this is 2017. But there's still sequels that get made because there's also more stories to tell and characters to go places with. Those are the type of sequels that turn out best.

I can't see a House at the End of the Street sequel being anything more than a rehash. Even Passengers 2 makes more sense to me than that.

I was clearly joking about the HATES thing. Mainly cause it doesn't need a sequel. Just like the Gallows and Unfriended don't need one.

But given people's response box office wise. They love rehashes it seems.

I mean I could see them doing a direct to DVD. has nothing to do with the original type thing. Stuff like a "sequel" to the Fright Night remake. Which was basically another remake really. but added a 2 onto it.

I think they'd would've made like 5 of them by now if it was a bigger box office success.

I always think it came out before Hunger Games cause it was a relatively small movie.
