I finally got Independence Day on Blu-ray.
![]() ![]() That's the first time this has happened but I came pretty close to that at other times. There should at least be a tab or something to pull and easily get that tight bugger off. I don't lack patience but I think the outer wrapping is very trying and puts it to the test! ![]() |

I am an absolute stickler about my cases, inserts, discs ect. I absolutely can not stand the blu-ray cases that have the little flap to open before the case opens like with pirates 2 and No Country For Old Men. I managed to crease the top part of the insert to no country by prying open the darn flap. So tommy lee jones head has another big wrinkle in it >:[

Every time i see one of those flaps on the side of the case, I somehow manage to pinch and cut myself. I hate the bastards... I actually had to get stitches in one of my fingers from those flaps. I got blood all over the case for A Scanner Darkly. ...which is really quite a shame since that case is pretty cool looking. Im gonna probably start buying DVDs only now, JUST because of this. ![]() /Sarcasm (by the way). Honestly, The flaps arent annoying to me at all. I like them. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Same way that i do it. The only case that i have had to replace was one of the Underworld movies, stupid flap thing broke in half during transit and wouldn't close.

Does anyone else get this? Sometimes when I buy a BD and am driving back home from BB, the sunlight reflects off the blu-disk case's cellophane nearly blinding me. I almost hit the car next to me on the freeway a couple weeks ago as it temporarily blinded me!
Cant they make less reflective cellophane wraps so as to avoid personal injury or death? ![]() |
