I LOVE these movies. What region will these be? I couldn't tell from the web-page. Do you think they will be released over here anytime soon or is anyone planning on importing? Does FOX have own the disitribution rights over seas, or is there some other reason why the schmoes won't release it in the states, too?

The Japanese DVD release of the first film had English and Japanese subtitles, (but the "director's cut" did not) so it could go either way on this. Man, I hope they include those English subs. If they do, I'm all over this. I've been wanting to see Daywatch for some time, but haven't got the chance.

Just checked the links provided, and SWEET, these will have English subs. It appears there will also be an English (and Japanese) dub, as well as the original Russian, at least if the Amazon listing is correct.
Nice.

How can you tell that??? I guess I can't read Japanese. Even when I looked at it in english all that info was still in Japanese.

Edit: Wow, I did a currency check. Is this right? I figure it is only about $36 for the two movie set! That can't be right.

I can't see this piece of.... But, I'll try to buy them for my BD collection.
And, I can't understand why our country BD-factory (really exists and operates) can't do it titles for Russia consumers.
Country of frighteners idiots.

Japanese 're in [A]-region. The question is whether these titles locked to [A]-region. In any case - it's not a problem, even for me.

I watched the first one - couldn't make it through the second. Maybe it's a Russian thing but I just feel they are sloppy and don't really make a lot of sense. And the characters are a bit weird. I just felt I wan't really sure what the director was trying to do.
