NBC I believe. Not sure what channel that is in your area. I have NBC in HD so I am hoping it will be in 1080 and not 720.
I was a big fan of the original knight rider; so I have no idea what to expect, other than a big change ofcourse. But hopefully it will be a good show. I wonder if the characters in this show are the same of the upcoming knight rider movie. |

It wasn't bad, especially given the competition recently, I'd watch it over any reality show. If you're going to start making political statements (homosexuality, Blackriver, etc) right off the bat though your show better be darn good, and KR wasn't. Return to sender.

I liked this new Knight Rider. Good Acting and great action overall.
I think most of you are being waaaaaaay too critical about a lot of things and are forgetting that it's just meant to be a fun action show. I swear some of you must sit there with pen and pad writing down "things they should have done". I can't explain why writers do the things they do but to beat a dead horse over those little things just detracts from the premise of the show (which is to relax and enjoy, have fun with it etc). First of the complaint the use of a mustang is un-warranted. I admit at first I thought "mustang? what? why?". But after watching the show I thought hey why not, it works quite well. Besides even if the studio were to go with a "sleeker" car what car would be sleek enough and cheap enough for all those stunts? Second, to those bashing KITT's abilities lighten up already, it's a TV show, not a documentary on current tech. How does KITT scan the casino and locate every bad guy? Who the **** cares. I swear some of you are those types of people that have to have an explanation of how every sci-fi device works WITH blueprint. Like those idiots who ask how transporter's in star trek work or how to build your own light-saber. If that was the case then all of the worlds technological progress would be coming from hollywood instead of real life inventors/scientists/engineers etc. Third, I thought Val kilmer did a superb (if not stole the show for me) as the voice of KITT. He had that no emotion air to it and yet you still felt like he was your best friend. If you haven't guessed by now I'm really hoping this becomes another great action series (like Terminator). I admit I went in with low expectations so maybe that is why I liked it so much but either way I hope this gets picked up and NBC gets rid ( or have they?) of Bionic women and put this in it's place. My bad, I'm jumping the gun and declaring it cancelled already. I initially got the first bit of information from the column on the site below and from there bounced around to some other sites while killing time at work. The writing is pretty much on the wall for TSC sadly.
http://www.411mania.com/movies/colum...-Things-TV.htm Anyway to my Viper comment. Yeah $1M an episode is not unheard of nowadays but remember that Viper began in 1994 and almost from episode 1 was costing that much to produce. ST:TNG began in 1987 and by the time it was consistantly hitting $1M per episode it was a bonafide hit and was well worth the investment for Paramount. Similarly with Frasier, the series began in 1994 and wasn't doing in excess of $1M per ep until well into its 11+ season lifespan. Viper, in contrast, actually ran for a total of 4 seasons of 78 episodes but over a period of nearly six years, partially due to a year-long hiatus of the show after season 1 to retool, recast, and reevaluate the series. Never a good sign for a new show trying to find its audience and footing. Who knows, maybe Fox will decide to put TSC on hiatus for a year and rework it so it doesn't cost as much to produce...but maybe given that option or cancellation outright...I think I'd pick cancellation, that way at least the actors etc. can move on to something else and not be left hanging in the wind. |

It was just ok. They could of done better like a different car. But it was ok. Good to see Michael Knight in it. Also it's a good point someone said about too many commercials. Kinda the reason why I rarely watch broadcast TV anymore.
