Hi,
To be honest here are not many places around to buy them in stores at good pricing! You'd be better off to order online through Amazon or similar sites and just have it delivered to the hotel. How long will you be staying? Here is a small list of some stores: Best Buy (probably the biggest selection on the islands, if you go there on release date you might be able to grab a few titles for cheap- other than that they're somewhat pricey) Circuit City (smaller selection, quite expensive) Sears (same as Circuit City) For locations you can go to the websites and use the store locator. Then there might be some smaller stores that carry few titles here and there, but those are definitely close to list price. Stay away from the shopping malls for those kind of purchases. We are kind of hurting right now since Tower Records closed down all shops as well as local CompUSA. If you can get membership cards for Costco and Sams Club, they have a smaller selection, but pretty good prices. Oh, and then there is Walmart. Check the one close to Ala Moana Center. They got about 50 titles, most are slightly above Amazon prices. If you want a list let me know, need to pick up some cat food from there. Any other questions you can also pm me. Have a great stay! ![]() |

Trust in Katharsis!!!
Yeah there isnt too many stores here to buy blu-rays from. Best buy is probably your best bet. The one near Home Depot in Kalihi is the best one!! it has the biggest selection! Stay away from the one in Pearl City because traffic is a mess. Walmart has an ok selection, but I dont know how walmarts are on the mainland but the ones here are horrible!! Super crowded!! I really hate the Walmarts here. Stay away from Circuit City because they are expensive! you will pay regular price 35-40 bucks!!Good luck and happy hunting! Oh and Aloha, and enjoy your stay! |

Thanks for the replies, i'll certainly try them out. We're only there for a week
and whilst i do order some from Amazon etc there is nothing quite like browsing and getting your hands on a disc in a store and taking it away. The prices can't be worse than we pay here in Oz and the selection is much better. So once again many thanks |
